In addition to the General Orders the Department developed internal HR policies to effectively administer various matters including, Housing, Training, Corporate Wear, HIV/AIDS and Equal Employment Opportunity. Another policy has been recently distributed that relates to administration of SDMA, basically a performance based allowance.

Executive Manager - HRM
Pex Bua has been with the Department since July 1979, serving DJAG for more than 32 years.
He achieved a Masters in Management at the Australian National University (ANU) in 2005, prior to that graduated with ah Certificate in Development Administration at the same university in 2004.
In June 2010 Mr Bua was promoted to the position of Executive Manager with the HRM branch after years of hardwork.
Mr Bua hails from the Central Province and is also one of the longest serving staff of the Department.
